Department Overview:
The Ad Technology team is responsible for supplying support, solutions and advice around technical implementation and delivery of Rich Media on the Yahoo! Network and ad serving in general. The team reports directly to the Customer Advocacy Group SVP based in the Yahoo! headquarters in Sunnyvale, California. This is a pan-European team with members in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany and Spain.
The group breaks down into teams focusing each on Rich Media ad building and operations, Rich Media Development, general technical operations functions and Direct Response. The group has a pivotal role in the company as we are involved in all aspects of delivery of advertising, from product consultation and setup, ad specs ownership, all the way to physical execution. THe group interacts with many teams across the company, ranging internally from product managers, engineers, account management and sales teams and ad operations to externally with our advertising clients and agencies and third party vendors.
Responsibilities:
The Advertising Technology Executive will be responsible for the implementation and support of cutting-edge graphical advertising solutions using Yahoo! proprietary ad building and ad serving tools and 3rd party rich media ads..
The candidate will also support the ad operations team on day to day technical issues, training traffickers on rich media builds while also supporting development of new ad solutions, and issues with the as serving system.
The Advertising Technology Executive will be also involved in the definition of ad specs, building best practises, QA and overseeing of the correct use of rich media ads throughout the Yahoo! EMEA (Erupe, Middle East and Africa) network of sites.
The Advertising Technology Executive will develop an understanding of the current rich media market in EMEA countries by maintaining relationships with internal and external clients. At the same time The Advertising Technology Executive will also maintain relationships with our US and APAC counterparts in order to gain insight of development in other regions of the globe.
The Advertising Technology Executive will also be asked to support the research of new ad solutions and take care of their correct implementation throughout the Yahoo! network.
