Due to their continued growth a UK based retail brand leader with a 30 year history and more than 100 outlets in the UK and abroad, require a talented Digital Graphic Designer to join their graphic design team.
This newly created role will fulfill a critical business function, with responsibilities including:
designing digital products, branding and digital marketing material producing weekly newsletters in line with the marketing and trading calendars developing email templates and other digital tools that combine the best of the company’s visual language with a high impact ‘call to action’ to maximise revenue generation working closely with the E-Commerce team to create promotional material in support of special offers and seasonal products liaising closely with colleagues from all departments to produce the best response to creative briefs
Skills and experience
Suitable candidates will be passionate about digital graphic design and be able to demonstrate exceptional creative thinking, proven commercial design experience in graphics, software applications, techniques and tools.
A strong web portfolio demonstrating originality, flexibility and a broad range of skills with an ability to work on multiple projects at once, ensuring exacting deadlines are adhered to. Good working knowledge of HTML, CSS along with Creative Suite CS3/4 – Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design. Knowledge of Flash and Dreamweaver would be an advantage.
Ultimately the ideal candidate will have an abiding passion for all things design and online, excellent communication skills, an eye for quality and exceptional attention to detail
